In conjunction with the publication of our two newest catalogues, the Tobey C. Moss Gallery presents HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHTS, a selection of works depicted in these catalogues.
The first catalogue presents painting, sculpture, collage and works on paper from thirty-three artists. Featured are paintings by CLINTON ADAMS, DORR BOTHWELL, JEAN CHARLOT, WERNER DREWES, LORSER FEITELSON, OSKAR FISCHINGER, MATSUMI KANEMITSU, RICO LEBRUN, DAVID P. LEVINE, STANTON MACDONALD-WRIGHT, JOHN McLAUGHLIN, PALMER SCHOPPE, RUFINO TAMAYO and JOYCE TREIMAN, and sculpture by PETER KRASNOW and GORDON WAGNER.
Our second catalogue features works on paper
from a wide range of artists, including Old Masters ALBRECHT DÜRER,
JUSEPE RIBERA and FRANCISCO GOYA, European masters including HENRI MATISSE,
JOAN MIRO and PABLO PICASSO, Latin artists PABLO O'HIGGINS, JOSE CLEMENTE
OROZCO, DAVID SIQUEIROS and FRANCISCO TOLEDO, as well as California Modern
artists WILLIAM DOLE, LEONARD EDMONDSON, JULES ENGEL, YNEZ JOHNSTON, LEE
MULLICAN, CHANNING PEAKE, BETYE SAAR and EMERSON WOELFFER.
